Overview

The Springfield Armory Prodigy DS Comp takes the traditional 1911 platform and modernizes it with a high-capacity double-stack design. Chambered in 9mm Luger, this pistol features a 5-inch forged stainless steel match-grade bull barrel equipped with an integral compensator to significantly reduce muzzle rise. The slide is forged from carbon steel, finished in black Cerakote, and features an AOS (Agency Optic System) optic-ready cut along with a tritium front sight and a black serrated rear sight. The firearm is built on a forged carbon steel frame and grip module finished in matching black Cerakote, featuring a beavertail grip safety, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and an integrated Picatinny rail for mounting accessories. It utilizes a skeletonized trigger and black polymer grips. This low-capacity compliant model ships with two 10-round double-stack magazines, a 2-piece full-length guide rod, and has an overall length of 8.5 inches with a weight of 33 ounces.
