Overview

The Springfield Armory Echelon is a modular, striker-fired 9mm semi-automatic pistol. It is built around a robust, serialized stainless steel chassis and features a 4.5-inch hammer-forged steel barrel with a Black Melonite finish. The slide is also Black Melonite-finished, optic-ready, and includes serrations on the front and rear, a flared back for positive purchase, and a forward trench cut for press checks. The pistol utilizes the Variable Interface System (VIS), allowing for the direct mounting of various optics without adapter plates. The black polymer frame includes a Picatinny rail and interchangeable backstraps to adjust grip ergonomics. This model includes two 15-round magazines and features ambidextrous controls.
