Overview

The Springfield Armory M1A Scout Squad is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO with a 10+1 capacity, featuring a 18-inch carbon steel barrel and a steel receiver finished in black Parkerized. Designed to blend the reliability of the classic M1A platform with scout-style handling, it features an 1:11-inch twist rate, a two-stage trigger, and a forward-mounted scope rail on the receiver for extended eye relief optics. Sighting is handled by a National Match .062 blade front sight and a military aperture rear sight that is fully adjustable for both windage and elevation. The firearm is set in a black synthetic fixed stock with an ambidextrous safety and has an overall length of 37 inches and a weight of 8.5 pounds. This New York compliant model includes a 10-round Parkerized steel magazine and a case.
