The Speer 185-grain Encased Core Full Jacket (FMJ) flat nose bullets are engineered for shooters who demand precision and consistency in training and competition. Utilizing advanced Uni-Cor technology, molten lead is poured directly into the jacket, completely encapsulating the core in a seamless, flawless copper jacket. This Total Metal Jacket (TMJ) design prevents lead vaporization during firing, making them an excellent choice for indoor shooting environments. Designed for the .45 ACP platform, these bullets feature a .451-inch diameter and a flat nose profile that promotes reliable feeding in semi-automatic firearms. The swaged-twice construction ensures a uniform heel and consistent diameter, while the fully enclosed base prevents deformation under pressure. Additionally, the TMJ design ensures these bullets will not foul ported recoil compensators, providing cleaner performance compared to conventional open-base bullets. Each box contains 100 bullets.
