Overview
The Spartan Armor Achilles Plate Carrier paired with Hercules Lite Level RF2/III+ Ballistic Plates provides a durable, adjustable, and lightweight protection system. The Achilles carrier is constructed from 1000D polyester with laser-cut MOLLE webbing and features a dual-pocket design that accommodates 9.5" x 12.5" medium ESAPI, 10" x 12", and 11" x 14" plates, as well as 6" x 6", 6" x 8", and 5" x 11" side plates. It includes a fully adjustable and removable cummerbund, adjustable internal buckle system, padded shoulder straps, ventilated padding on the front and rear, a YKK zippered admin pouch, a rear drag handle, and a pre-installed removable triple M4 magazine pouch. The included Hercules Lite Level RF2/III+ plates are standalone body armor made from aluminum oxide ceramic and UHMWPE, measuring 9.5" x 12.5" with a 1.0-inch thickness and a weight of 5 lbs each. These plates are rated to stop high-velocity rounds including M80 ball, M193, M855, and M855A1.
