Overview

The Spartan Armor Achilles plate carrier system in Multicam features a laser-cut 1000D polyester carrier paired with two Elaphros Gen 2 lightweight Level III composite ballistic plates. The carrier accommodates plates sized 10" x 12", 11" x 14", and 9.5" x 12.5" (MED ESAPI), and also accepts side plates in 6" x 6", 6" x 8", and 5" x 11" dimensions. It includes padded shoulder straps, ventilation for the front and rear, an adjustable internal buckle system, a rear drag handle, a YKK zippered admin pouch, and a pre-installed removable triple M4 magazine pouch. The included Elaphros Gen 2 body armor plates measure 9.5" x 12.5", weigh 3.4 lbs each, and are 1.2 inches thick. Constructed from Spectra UHMWPE, these plates are rated to stop threats up to 5.56 M193 and 7.62 M80 ball ammunition.
