Overview

The Spartan Armor Achilles Plate Carrier system comes paired with two Elaphros Gen 2 lightweight level III composite ballistic plates. The Achilles carrier is crafted from 1000D polyester with laser-cut MOLLE webbing, a dual-pocket design accommodating various plate sizes (9.5" x 12.5" MED ESAPI included), an adjustable internal buckle system, a removable pre-installed triple M4 magazine pouch, padded shoulders, ventilated padding on the front and rear, a YKK zippered admin pouch, and a rear drag handle. The included Elaphros Gen 2 plates are manufactured from Spectra UHMWPE, weigh 3.4 lbs each with a 1.2-inch thickness, and are rated to stop up to 5.56 M193 and 7.62 M80 ball ammunition.
