Machined from 41V50 chrome moly vanadium steel, it features a phosphate-treated exterior and a chrome-lined bore to enhance corrosion resistance and longevity. The barrel utilizes a .223 Wylde chamber, which allows for safe and accurate firing of both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition. This barrel incorporates 5R rifling, which reduces bullet deformation and fouling to improve consistency across high round counts. It utilizes a mid-length gas system to provide a smoother recoil impulse. The barrel extension is DLC-coated for superior wear resistance at critical contact points, and the muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 for compatibility with various muzzle devices or suppressors. The barrel comes dimpled to facilitate a secure gas block installation.
