Overview

The Sons of Liberty Gun Works bolt carrier group is designed for the AR-15 platform. The bolt is precision machined from Carpenter 158 steel, heat-treated, and shot-peened, with individual high-pressure (HP) testing and magnetic particle inspection (MPI). The carrier is machined from 8620 alloy with a full-auto profile and a hard chrome bore. The assembly includes a 4340 chromoly cam pin, an 8640 firing pin, and a gas key machined from 4130 chromoly steel with Grade 8 torqued and staked hex screws. The entire unit features a black phosphate finish.
