Overview

The Standard Manufacturing 1911 is a semi-automatic handgun chambered in .45 ACP with an 8-round capacity and a 5-inch stainless steel match-grade barrel with a match bushing. Hand-forged by master gunsmiths using traditional techniques, the frame and slide feature a chain pattern 4140 carbon steel Damascus construction. Designed with an enhanced slide-to-frame fit, the pistol includes a lowered and flared ejection port, rear slide serrations, a checkered mainspring housing, an upswept beavertail grip safety, an extended magazine release, and fully machined extended tactical thumb safety and slide stop. It is outfitted with high-profile low-mount tactical sights, an enhanced machined hammer, a medium solid match-grade trigger with a 4.5 lb pull weight, and extra-fancy American Black Walnut grips.
