The Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield Plus is a slim, lightweight, striker-fired semi-automatic micro-compact pistol chambered in 9mm. It features a 3.1-inch stainless steel barrel and slide finished with a durable, corrosion-resistant Armornite coating atop a black polymer frame. The pistol incorporates a flat-face trigger for consistent finger placement, a tactile and audible trigger reset, and an optimal 18-degree grip angle with enhanced grip texture for recoil management and natural point of aim. For safety and disassembly, it utilizes the M&P patented takedown lever and sear deactivation systems, which allow for breakdown without pulling the trigger, and ships without a manual thumb safety. Sighting is handled by tritium night sights for low-light conditions. The package includes three magazines: two 13-round extended magazines and one 10-round flush-fit magazine.
