Overview

The Smith & Wesson M&P 15 AXE is a gas-operated semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO. It features a suppressor-optimized GVAC upper and a pinned low-profile GVAC gas block constructed from 4140CM steel to mitigate gas blowback. The rifle is equipped with an 11.5-inch 4150 CMV steel barrel with a 1:8 twist, 5R rifling, an Armornite finish, and a Gemtech ETM flash hider. The M&P 15 AXE includes a 10.5-inch Midwest Industries combat M-LOK free-float handguard and a flat-face trigger. The rifle is built with a lightweight aluminum frame and features ambidextrous controls, including a bolt release, magazine catch, and manual thumb safety. It comes with a Radian Raptor charging handle, Williams adjustable folding sights, a Magpul CTR adjustable stock, and an M&P grip with four interchangeable backstraps. This model measures 30.5 inches in length and ships with one 30-round magazine.
