Overview

The Smith & Wesson Model 1854 lever-action centerfire rifle chambered in .45-70 Gov't combines traditional styling with modern manufacturing and reliability. It features a 20-inch stainless steel threaded barrel with an 11/16"-24 thread pattern and an included thread protector, utilizing 1:20" right-hand twist 8-groove rifling. The receiver is equipped with an extended Picatinny rail for optics compatibility and accepts mounts designed for Marlin 1894 hole patterns. Designed for smooth and crisp operation inspired by Smith & Wesson's revolver engineering, the rifle includes a large loop lever and a convenient magazine tube system that allows shooters to safely and easily unload the firearm without cycling the action. Sighting duties are handled by a gold bead front sight and an adjustable XS Sights ghost ring rear sight. The firearm is styled with a fixed walnut stock featuring textured grip panels, a black Armornite finish on the stainless steel receiver and barrel, and an overall capacity of 6+1 rounds.
