The Savage 1911 is a semi-automatic handgun chambered in .45 ACP with an 8-round capacity and a 5-inch barrel. Honoring the legacy of the original M1911, it is built with a forged stainless steel frame and slide, a dual recoil spring system with a GI-style guide rod, and a billet-machined barrel featuring an 11-degree target crown.
