Overview

The Savage Arms Impulse KLYM is a straight-pull bolt-action rifle chambered in 300 Win Mag with a 3+1 capacity. It features a 24-inch PROOF Research carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel cut-rifled barrel with a threaded muzzle and a 5/8x24 thread pattern, topped with an OmniPort muzzle brake. The black aluminum receiver includes an integral 1-piece 20 MOA Picatinny rail. The rifle is built into a custom FBT (Fine Ballistic Tools) carbon fiber stock featuring a carbon fiber forend and buttstock with an additive-manufactured center section, an adjustable comb height, and an installed Magnaswitch system with sling studs. Operating controls include a user-adjustable 1.5 to 4 lb. AccuTrigger, a 2-position tang safety, and an ambidextrous, removable, multi-positional threaded bolt handle with a carbon fiber knob.
