Overview

The San Tan Tactical AR-15 Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group is precision-manufactured for .223 Remington, 5.56 NATO, and .300 AAC Blackout platforms. Built to mil-spec tolerances with a durable black nitride finish, the carrier is constructed from case-hardened 8620 steel and features a flared rear design to minimize carrier tilt during recoil. It also includes sand cuts to enhance reliability in heavily fouled environments and enlarged forward ports optimized for suppressor use. The bolt assembly is CNC-ground from 9310 case-hardened steel after heat treatment, shot peened, and finished with a black nitride coating. This assembly includes a hardened 4340 cam pin, a mil-spec 8740 steel firing pin, a mil-spec extractor spring with an O-ring, and undergoes both MPI and HPT testing for consistent, high-round-count reliability.
