Overview

The San Tan Tactical Buffer Tube Kit is an enhanced Mil-Spec AR-15 carbine buffer assembly designed to upgrade or maintain standard AR-platform lower receivers. The six-position buffer tube is machined from 7075-T6 grade aluminum to Mil-Spec dimensions, featuring a durable Type III, Class II hard coat anodized finish and through drainage holes to evacuate water in submerged environments. The kit includes a standard 3 oz carbine recoil buffer, a high-tensile steel carbine action spring, a high carbon steel castle nut, and a Quick Detach (QD) receiver end plate. Both the castle nut and the upgraded QD end plate are heat-treated and finished with a nitride coating for enhanced strength, wear resistance, and corrosion protection. Finished in black, this complete kit provides reliable cycling and robust component quality for rifle builds.
