Overview

The Samson Evolution Series 10-inch handguard is a free-float rail system designed for the AR-15 platform. Constructed from 6010 T6 aluminum with a matte black, mil-spec hard coat anodized finish, the handguard features a continuous mil-spec Picatinny top rail and dual anti-rotation locking tabs. The system utilizes a 303 stainless steel thermal bushing that locks onto the factory barrel nut, which helps reduce heat transfer to the shooter's hand. Installation does not require specialized tools or the removal of the barrel. The handguard has a 1.8" faceted outer diameter and a 1.56" inner diameter, allowing it to accommodate most suppressors. The top rail is relieved to support most aftermarket gas piston conversion systems. Each unit includes two 2-inch and one 4-inch customizable Picatinny rail sections, which can be positioned along the handguard as needed, including at 45-degree offsets. Allen wrenches are included for installation.
