Overview

The Samson B-TM Heat Shield is a precision-contoured accessory designed for the Ruger 10/22 carbine, mimicking the aesthetic of the factory Mini-14 heat shield. It is constructed from a durable, matte black injection-molded glass-filled polymer. Measuring 8.375 inches in length, the heat shield installs securely in minutes using a single included screw without the need for gunsmithing. Installation requires the removal of the factory dovetail rear sight, and users will need to utilize aftermarket iron sights or optics mounted to the top of the receiver. While compatible with the Ruger 10/22 Takedown model, installing this heat shield will result in the loss of the rifle's takedown functionality.
