Samson 010300101 Evolution Low Profile Gas Block Rifle AR15/M4/M16 Black Anodized 6061-T6 Aluminum 15 in Picatinny

Overview

The Samson Evolution Series free-floating handguard is a customizable 15-inch rail system designed for AR-15 platforms with a matte black hard-coat anodized finish over 6061-T6 aluminum. Utilizing a two-piece stainless steel thermal bushing that locks onto the standard barrel nut without requiring the removal of the barrel or upper receiver, the handguard incorporates dual anti-rotation alignment tabs to prevent movement under stress. The faceted 1.8-inch outer diameter and generous ventilation slots help reduce heat transfer to the shooter's hands, while the 1.56-inch inner diameter accommodates most suppressors. Featuring a continuous Mil-Spec Picatinny top rail relieved to accept aftermarket piston conversion systems, the system includes two 2-inch and one 4-inch customizable rail sections that can be mounted at various positions, including 45-degree offsets.
