Overview

The Safariland Species is a minimalist inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster designed for reduced bulk during appendix carry. Constructed with thermal-molded SafariLaminate and a protective suede lining, it offers durability and helps preserve the handgun's finish. The holster is optic-compatible, providing clearance for a wide range of micro red dot sights, and includes a standard sight channel for regular-height sights. For user-customized performance, the Species features an integrated passive trigger guard retention system and an adaptable tension device. The mounting clip is fully cant-adjustable and vertically adjustable for wear comfort, and the holster is built to fit standard 1.5-inch (38 mm) belts.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
