Overview

The Safariland Model 578 GLS Pro-Fit holster combines the Grip Lock System (GLS) and SafariSeven material in a customizable OWB design tailored to fit Colt 1911 pistols with a 5-inch barrel. The GLS technology automatically secures the weapon when holstered and releases it intuitively via the middle finger during a standard shooting grip draw. The holster body is constructed from SafariSeven, a lightweight, non-abrasive nylon blend that withstands extreme temperatures and is easy to maintain. Configured for right-hand draw in black, the holster includes an injection-molded paddle and an adjustable injection-molded belt loop that accommodates cross-draw carry and belt widths ranging from 1.5 to 2.25 inches.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
