Overview

The Safariland 6378 ALS is an OWB holster designed for the left-handed shooter using a 1911 Commander with a 4.25-inch barrel. It utilizes the Automatic Locking System (ALS), which secures the firearm automatically upon holstering and allows for a natural, straight-up draw when the thumb release is engaged. Constructed from SafariLaminate with a protective SafariSuede interior lining, the holster is designed for daily use by plainclothes officers and civilians. It includes both a paddle attachment and a standard belt loop. The paddle is contoured for hip carry with a slight forward cant, while the belt loop is adjustable for cant and fits 1.5-inch to 1.75-inch belts.
