Overview

The Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit holster is a versatile, right-hand outside-the-waistband (OWB) concealment holster designed to fit a variety of firearms, including the S&W M&P Shield 9, 40, and 45. It utilizes the Grip Lock System (GLS), which automatically secures the weapon when holstered and releases it upon application of the middle finger when a standard shooting grip is achieved. The holster body is constructed from SafariSeven, a lightweight, durable nylon blend that is non-abrasive to firearm finishes and tolerant of extreme temperatures. The kit includes an injection-molded paddle and an adjustable belt loop, allowing the user to customize cant and support cross-draw carry. The low-cut, compact profile is designed for easy concealment and a fast draw.
