Overview

The Safariland Model 578 GLS Pro-Fit holster combines the Grip Lock System (GLS) and SafariSeven material in a versatile, flat dark earth design that accommodates over 60 different firearms. The innovative GLS automatically secures the weapon when holstered and releases it intuitively via the middle finger when using a standard shooting grip. Constructed from a proprietary, lightweight nylon blend, the holster body is completely non-abrasive to a firearm's finish and highly tolerant of extreme temperatures. It features a low-cut, compact design for easy concealment and a quick draw. The unit includes an injection-molded paddle and an adjustable belt loop that permits cross-draw carry and allows the holster to be worn with or without a belt.
