The Safariland Model 578 GLS Pro-Fit is an outside-the-waistband (OWB) holster designed to accommodate a wide variety of firearms with a customizable, adjustable fit. Finished in flat dark earth, this holster features the innovative Grip Lock System (GLS), which automatically secures the weapon when holstered and allows for an intuitive, safe release via the middle finger during a standard shooting grip. Constructed from SafariSeven—a lightweight, highly durable nylon blend—the holster body is non-abrasive to firearm finishes and maintains structural integrity in extreme high and low-temperature environments. Its low-cut and compact design facilitates easy concealment while enabling a rapid draw. The unit includes an injection-molded paddle, which allows for carrying with or without a belt, and an adjustable injection-molded belt loop that supports cant adjustment and cross-draw capability.
