Overview

The Safariland Model 578 GLS ProFit holster is designed for wide frame long slide pistols and combines the Grip Lock System (GLS) with SafariSeven nylon construction. The GLS automatically secures the weapon when holstered and allows for an intuitive, safe release using the middle finger during a standard shooting grip. Constructed from a proprietary nylon blend, the holster body is non-abrasive to firearm finishes and highly tolerant of extreme temperatures. The design is customizable to fit a wide variety of handguns and includes an injection-molded paddle along with an adjustable belt loop that permits cross-draw capability.
