Overview

The Safariland Species is a minimalist inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster designed for the S&W Shield EZ 9mm. Constructed from durable, thermal-molded SafariLaminate with a suede lining to protect the firearm's finish, this holster features an adjustable tension device and passive trigger guard retention to personalize the draw and feel. Designed for appendix-style carry, the Species is compatible with numerous optics, including the Romeo Zero, RMR CC, Shield RMS/RMS-C, Swampfox Sentinel, Hex Wasp, Holosun 407K/507K, J-point, and Crimson Trace 1550. The holster features a fully cantable and vertically adjustable mounting clip compatible with 1.5-inch belts and includes a sight channel to provide clearance for standard-height sights.
