The Sadlak M1A and M14 Oversized Gas Cylinder Wrench is designed to hold and protect the gas cylinder from damage during gas plug removal, featuring a durable .004-inch thick baked-on mil-spec finish. It also incorporates a special D-shaped hole to hold the piston and prevent rotation during cleaning. Note that Springfield Armory rifles manufactured after 2014 utilize oversized gas cylinders and require this oversized wrench.
