Overview

The Smith & Wesson M&P FPC is a semi-automatic 9mm Luger rifle featuring an innovative optics-ready, compact folding design that transitions from a 30 3/8-inch unfolded length down to 16 3/8 inches folded. It utilizes a blowback action with an integrated recoil buffer system and a flat-face trigger with a crisp break. The aluminum frame and 16.25-inch 4140 chrome moly threaded barrel include a 1/2-28 thread protector and an M-LOK handguard with a top Picatinny-style rail. The horizontal folding mechanism locks securely in place without interfering with top-mounted optics, and the charging handle doubles as a retainer when folded. Designed for convenience, the rifle features an in-stock magazine storage system with a quick-release tab in the stock that accommodates M&P full-size and compact double-stack magazines. The platform ships with three magazines total—one 17-round and two 23-round magazines—alongside a carrying bag outfitted with internal storage and Velcro straps. Additional features include a thumb safety, a reversible magazine catch, and a durable black finish.
