Overview

The Ruger Max-9 is a compact, striker-fired 9mm Luger pistol designed for personal protection. It features a 4-inch black oxide alloy steel barrel and a through-hardened black oxide alloy steel slide, which is serrated and optic-ready for direct mounting of Shield-pattern or JPoint micro red dot sights. The grip frame is made of high-performance glass-filled nylon with a medium texture and black finish. Equipped with a Tritium fiber optic day/night front sight and a drift-adjustable rear sight, the Max-9 includes a manual safety, trigger safety, and internal striker blocker. It features a 12+1 capacity and ships with two magazines (one 12-round and one 10-round) with finger grip extension floorplates. With a width of 0.95 inches and an overall length of 6.80 inches, the pistol is sized for carry while maintaining a 1:10" RH twist.
