Overview

The Ruger American Duty pistol in 9mm Luger features a 4.20-inch stainless steel barrel and a black nitride serrated stainless steel slide atop a black polymer frame equipped with a Picatinny rail. Built with a pre-tensioned striker system and a powerful striker spring for positive ignition without a heavier trigger pull, it incorporates a rigid, one-piece glass-filled nylon grip frame with integral frame rails and fire control housing. The modular wraparound grip system includes small, medium, and large grip modules to adjust palm swell and trigger reach. Additional features include genuine Novak LoMount Carry three-dot sights, an ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release, a short-takeup trigger with a positive reset, a recoil-reducing barrel cam, a visual inspection port, and a safety system consisting of an internal automatic sear block and integrated trigger safety. This model has a 17+1 capacity and ships with two nickel-Teflon plated steel magazines.
