Overview

The Ruger American Rimfire bolt-action rifle in 22 WMR features an 18-inch satin blued threaded barrel paired with an alloy steel receiver with a machined 3/8-inch rimfire scope base that is also drilled and tapped. Handling is aided by a 60-degree bolt throw, a tang safety, an extended 10/22-style magazine release, and a black synthetic stock with interchangeable standard-length pull modules. Sights consist of a Williams fiber optic front and an adjustable V-slot folding-leaf rear. The rifle has a 9+1 capacity and includes a flush-mounted JMX-1 rotary magazine and sling swivel studs.
