Overview
The Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester with a 10+1 capacity. It features an 18.7-inch cold hammer-forged, free-floating stainless steel barrel with a 5/8"x24 thread pattern and a removable flash suppressor. The matte stainless steel solid-steel receiver has integral scope mounts and a forward-mounted Picatinny rail for modern optics, complemented by a ghost ring adjustable rear aperture sight and a non-glare blade front sight. Built with a right-hand action and a black laminate stock featuring an adjustable length of pull with buttpad spacers, the rifle also includes a three-position safety, a non-rotating Mauser-style controlled round feed extractor, sling swivel studs, and a 10-round detachable box magazine with a push-forward release.
