Overview

The Ruger Mini-14 Ranch rifle is a rugged, modern sporting rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO (.223 Rem). It utilizes a Garand-style action with a breech bolt locking system, a fixed-piston gas system, and a self-cleaning moving gas cylinder for reliability in harsh conditions. The 18.5-inch cold hammer-forged alloy steel barrel features a blued finish, a 1:9-inch right-hand twist with 6 grooves, and delivers exceptional accuracy and longevity. The rifle is set in a black synthetic stock with a 13-inch length of pull, rubber recoil pad, and swivel studs. Sighting and optics options include a protected blade front sight, an adjustable ghost ring rear aperture sight, and integral scope mounts machined directly onto the solid-steel receiver, which is also drilled and tapped to accept an included Picatinny rail and scope rings. It feeds via a detachable box magazine with a 5-round capacity.
