Overview

The Ruger American Gen 2 rifle in .450 Bushmaster is a bolt-action rifle featuring a 20-inch, medium-contour, cold hammer-forged barrel with deep spiral fluting. The barrel is threaded (11/16"x24) and comes with a factory-installed radial port muzzle brake. Both the barreled action and receiver are finished in a durable Gun Metal Gray Cerakote. The gray synthetic stock is textured with a black and gray splatter finish for improved grip and includes a removable comb riser and a length of pull spacer adjustable from 12 to 13.75 inches. Built for reliability and accuracy, the rifle utilizes the Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger (3-5 lb pull) and the patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system. The three-position tang safety allows the bolt to be locked or the rifle to be loaded while the safety is engaged. Additional features include a one-piece Picatinny scope base, an oversized bolt handle, a stainless steel three-lug bolt, and a soft rubber recoil pad. This model includes one magazine and steel sling swivel studs.
