Overview

The Ruger Max-9 is a slim, lightweight, and compact striker-fired pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, engineered for personal protection. It features a 3.20-inch cold hammer-forged steel barrel with ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy and longevity, complemented by a through-hardened black oxide alloy steel slide and a high-performance, glass-filled black polymer grip frame. The slide is optics-ready, allowing direct mounting of co-witnessed JPoint and Shield-pattern micro red dot sights, and is paired with a high-visibility tritium fiber optic front sight and a drift-adjustable rear sight. Safety mechanisms include an integrated trigger safety, a manual thumb safety, an internal striker blocker, and a loaded chamber inspection port.
