The Ruger GP100 Match Champion is a stainless steel, double-action revolver chambered in 10mm Auto. It features a 4.2-inch half-lug barrel with an 11-degree target crown for competitive accuracy and a 1:16-inch twist. The firearm utilizes a triple-locking cylinder design that secures at the front, rear, and bottom for positive alignment. The action includes polished internal components, a centering boss on the trigger, and centering shims on the hammer to produce a smooth, consistent trigger pull. The revolver is fitted with a Hogue hardwood grip with stippled sides for improved handling. Safety features include a transfer-bar mechanism that prevents the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled.
