Overview

The Ruger GP100 Match Champion is a medium-frame double-action/single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum/.38 Special. It features a 4.2-inch slab-sided, half-lug barrel with an 11-degree target crown and 5-groove rifling with a 1:18.75-inch twist. The revolver is constructed from stainless steel with a satin finish and includes a contoured cylinder designed for easier re-holstering. The Match Champion model includes a match-tuned action with optimized, polished internals, a fiber optic front sight, and a fixed Novak Lo-Mount carry rear sight. The grip frame is fitted with custom Hogue stippled hardwood grips. Safety features include a patented transfer bar mechanism and an exposed hammer.
