The Ruger American Ranch is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm with a 5+1 capacity. The steel receiver features a matte black finish and comes with a factory-installed, one-piece Picatinny scope base. The rifle utilizes a one-piece, three-lug bolt with a 70-degree throw, dual cocking cams, and a full-diameter bolt body for smooth cycling. It incorporates Ruger's patented Power Bedding integral block system to free-float the barrel, alongside a user-adjustable Marksman Adjustable trigger with a pull weight ranging from 3 to 5 pounds. The ergonomic, lightweight synthetic stock comes in a flat dark earth finish and includes modern forend contouring, grip serrations, a soft rubber buttpad for recoil reduction, and integrated sling swivel studs.
