The Ruger Blackhawk Convertible is a single-action revolver chambered in .45 ACP and .45 Colt, featuring a 6-round capacity and a 5.50-inch cold hammer-forged alloy steel barrel with blued finish. It incorporates Ruger's patented transfer bar mechanism and a loading gate interlock for security against accidental discharge, allowing the hammer to rest safely all the way forward without a traditional safety notch. The revolver includes two easily interchangeable cylinders that can be swapped without tools, traditional western-style grips, a ramp front sight, and an adjustable rear sight.
