The Rock Island Armory 57180 GI is a semi-automatic 1911 pistol chambered in 10mm with an 8+1 capacity and a 5-inch barrel. Designed to represent the original US GI combat issue sidearm while accommodating modern capabilities, it features a ramp-type bull barrel, a parkerized matte finish, black checkered rubber grips, a full-length guide rod, and a beavertail grip safety. The double-wide serrated steel slide is optic-ready and includes an optic base adaptor with an integrated rear sight tailored for RMSc sights, along with a red dot sight cover plate and screw.
