The Rock Island Armory Rock Standard FS is a full-size 1911-platform handgun chambered in .45 ACP. Built on a steel beavertail frame with a nickel finish, it features a 5-inch button-rifled barrel and a serrated, black parkerized steel slide. This semi-automatic pistol includes a skeletonized hammer and trigger, the latter equipped with an adjustable over-travel stop. Designed with traditional 70-series architecture, the firearm is hand-fitted and tested for quality assurance. Operational features include fixed, low-profile snag-free sights and an ambidextrous safety lever. The pistol utilizes a full-length guide rod to assist with recoil management. It is outfitted with checkered black rubber grips, providing a secure hold.
