Overview

The CMMG DISSENT Mk4 is a compact semi-automatic SBR chambered in 5.56x45mm built upon an AR-15 platform. It features a 10.5-inch 4140CM steel barrel with a salt bath nitride finish, 1:7 twist rate, medium taper contour, and a 1/2x28 thread pitch equipped with a CMMG ZEROED linear compensator. The firearm utilizes a direct impingement Compact Action operating system that houses the entire action and recoil system within the upper receiver, entirely eliminating the need for a traditional buffer tube. Finished in an armor black Cerakote, the DISSENT includes a 7075-T6 aluminum Mk4 forged lower receiver, an adjustable gas block, and a top picatinny rail with an M-LOK handguard for accessory mounting. A forward non-reciprocating charging handle allows for manipulation without leaving the target. The rear features a side-folding stock with an adjustable length of pull and cheek riser. It ships with two 30-round magazines.
