Overview

The Remington 700 ADL Varmint is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .223 Rem with a 4+1 capacity, designed for precision varmint hunting and long-range target shooting. It features a 26-inch carbon steel heavy 5R threaded barrel (1/2"x28 pattern) mated to a solid-steel bar stock receiver that is drilled and tapped. The receiver and recessed bolt face combine to form Remington's signature three-rings-of-steel design around the cartridge case head. Equipped with an internal box magazine and no hinged floorplate, the rifle utilizes a black synthetic stock with a vented beavertail forend and included swivel studs.
