Overview

The Remington 1911 R1 Carry in .45 ACP is a defensive semi-automatic pistol featuring a 5-inch stainless match-grade barrel with a target crown and a 1:16 left-hand twist rate. Built with a dehorned carbon steel frame and slide finished in satin black oxide, it incorporates a beaver-tail grip safety with a checkered 25 LPI memory bump, 25 LPI checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing, an ambidextrous thumb safety, a lowered and flared ejection port, and a machined skeletonized aluminum match trigger with an adjustable screw. Sighting is handled by a tritium front night sight and a standard Novak rear sight, while grips consist of rich Cocobolo wood. Ships with one 7-round and one 8-round magazine.
