The Redding VLD Bullet Seating Micrometer (#9179) allows handloaders to convert a conventional seating die into a precision micrometer seating die specifically optimized for VLD (Very Low Drag) bullets. Machined from a high-quality steel alloy, this component is hand-finished and inspected to ensure consistent, reliable performance. It is compatible with seating dies that utilize 1/2-20 threads; however, it is not for use with Redding Competition Seating Dies or dies from other manufacturers.
