The Redding Competition Bushing Neck Sizing Die for the 280 Remington Ackley Improved (40-degree shoulder) provides complete cartridge case support and alignment with the sizing bushing before the sizing process begins. As sizing commences, the case remains fully supported within a tightly chambered, sliding sleeve that moves upward while the resizing bushing self-centers on the case neck. Precise linear support from the internal components maintains exact alignment of the decapping rod, functioning similarly to a firing pin. Additionally, micrometer adjustment of the bushing position delivers precise control over the desired neck length to be sized. Bushings and shellholders are sold separately.
