RCBS X-Die 270 Winchester Full Length Sizing, Bullet Seating 2 Die Set

Overview

The RCBS X-Die 2-Die Set for the 270 Winchester is engineered to eliminate the need for repeated case trimming after an initial trim of .020" off the maximum case length. The set includes a Full Length Sizer Die and a Seater Die. The sizer die features a specially designed mandrel that contacts the case mouth to reduce the brass growth rate without shortening the case itself. Due to the extremely close tolerance between the mandrel and the die neck wall, the case neck does not thicken as the case length is pushed back. Cases repeatedly sized in the X-Die initially grow a few thousandths of an inch before stabilizing below maximum case length. Shellholders are sold separately.
