Overview
The RCBS Small Base 2-Die Set for .243 Winchester is engineered specifically for reloaders producing ammunition for semi-automatic, pump-action, lever-action, and automatic rifles. Unlike standard full-length sizers, small base dies size the brass case slightly smaller in diameter and set the shoulder back further to minimum specifications, ensuring reliable chambering in tighter action types. Because these dies size more extensively, cases must be thoroughly lubricated with high-quality case lube to prevent stuck brass. Shellholders are sold separately.
